Hello

I use AveDesk 1.3 and AveScripter 1.0.

I have installed the Desklet AH´s Wather and have added into my desktop. And i live in Malmo,Sweden so i write it so in the Settings.

But when i close AveDesk or reboot my PC the Desklet forget my settings and show nothing or just a cloud or a sun. I have tried 10 000 times to enter the data and save the theme; but when i close avedesk or reboot my PC the Desklet forget the settings again. What to do?

I'm not sure about you, but the weather docklet on my desk stopped since an hour and it's still not getting the weather yet, probably something with weather.com

Same here but, only for current conditions. Could be getting rest from cache. Probably the link.

Edit: That's weird the xml file is coming up fine in FF. Oops, actually in my case all current conditiions are n/a. Weather.com is updating something.

But I have got this problem for over two weeks now . I has maybe something to do with that I live in Sweden. All support is better for people in the US I thik.

I also have the problem with N/A, but the problem i described is probably something else.

Edit: Ok. I just tested for Malmo, Sweden with both AH Weather & Lucid Weather. It worked and might I say your weather forecast is crappier than mine!

My suggestions are:

-Do you have most current AveScripter version?
-Most current xml parser?

I´m new to this so.. witch code do you mean? Shall I open the script file for AH´s Weather?

I have this AveScripter version installed, and I think this one is installed too. But I´m no´t sure. I try to reinstall avescripter.

And the XML Praser, how do I know I have the latest version? where do i see it? and where do I download the latest version?

It didn't work a while ago but now it's up and running again I guess. I'm using the weather for Umeå (Sweden) and it works fine. I also tried Malmö and it works as well.
So at least you could come to the conclusion that the problem is not with weather.com. And the support for Sweden should be sufficient because it works for me.

Haha, how funny. I live in Malmö/Sweden and got the same problem. Right click on the desklet after rebot and press "Update Data".

This might be a bug that I have fixed with the upcoming release of scripter. I'll be releasing the latest version of avescripter this week.

I've been working at typing the document and doing a few new sample desklets. I've had little time lately with all that's been going on with stuff.

But It will be released this week. If you want Ballena, I could send you the scripter dll and you could test to see if it fixs it.

It works again! I´m so glad!

pmc has resolved the problem with a new version of AveScripter. It will be released soon.
