Hi,
I use Nexplorer and I've always had trouble editing the icons for the sidebar. There are two things I want to do - change the default HD icon to the Tiger one, and secondly, edit all the other sidebar icons to match those of the Macintosh finder.
I've already tried editing the configuration file, and even after a restart (of both Nexplorer and comp), it doesn't work, and of course, its a pain to do it via Windows as it involves manually editing the icons and then trying to get them to show it Nexplorer, and after all that, most icons don't show on the sidebar.
Has anyone figured out a way to do this or get their Nexplorer sidebar to look Mac-replicate? Any help is awesome.
Thanks!

Just goto your icon folder and they have to be .ico, pick one and drag it over the old icon then drop it on top of the old icon.
It is easy just drag it over on top of the one you want to change, then let go.
Edit: Do this while you are in Nexplorer, NOT windows explorer.

It's disgustingly simple--I recall having trouble with this over a year ago!
Drag folders onto the sidebar to add them. Try dragging ICO icons (from Explorer) over the icons in the sidebar to change them, though I don't know how you'd fare with PNG. That's either the answer or I'm getting this confused with Looca!
Oh, in the future, NeXplorer threads belong in the Community Application forum

.
Hope this helps
