Hi all,

I just released on www.avedesk.org a sample Desklet for WinAMP using Cranks artwork.

This sample winamp shows you how you can do a winamp remote without the need of any 3rd party com interface. It works with windows sendmessages.

Anyhow have fun

Not going to replace Foxy Tunes for me at the moment but nice addition to the desklet corral.

Ok, very nice that is! And Winamp is much popular than iTunes is, so the new crowd of skinners has a giant to stand on the shoulders of. Maybe, forum managers should better make an 'AveTunes/WinTunes skins' folder nearby, so we all would not be piled with those "releases"

Works with Foo_winamp_spam.dll if you have foobar :)

can this widget be skinned in the same way as avetunes? ( ie cover art etc ? )

you can skin it if you just change the files and adjust the xml file yes... But this is just a "remote" you can't get covert art.

To get cover art you need to use a different approach. This was just a simple example of winamp remote control so people can do what ever they want.
