So what are you saying? Only the Tiger theme did not install? But everything else did? Because "Flyakite not installing" is a horrible thread title if everything but the visual style worked.
If everything did install (icons, programs, extras, etc), but the Tiger theme did not, it is related to your uxtheme.dll file. Try patching it seperately with the tool and see what happens. Your uxtheme file may not be in the patch yet, not sure. http://www.portraitofakite.com/downloads/U...e%20Patcher.zip. By the way, what version of Windows are you on?

It shouldn't have anything to do with teh version of Windows I'm on, I have Media Center Edition 2005 on both my PC and Laptop, and the theme installed fine on my PC. I'm re-installing and trying the uxtheme patcher.
Sorry about the misleading thread title.
Edit: Nope, patcher didn't work.

Patcher didn't work as in what? There was an error? Did it say patch applied successfully and to restart? If it applied, when you went to the Desktop Properties -> Appearance tab could you apply other visual styles?
And yes, it can have everything to do with what version of Windows you are on. Sometimes certain versions have different file versions. UXtheme.dll controls the ability to use 3rd party visual style files. It's possible that the version of uxtheme.dll on your system isn't supported by the patch, or, it's possible that the code in the patch is wrong. Or, it's possible something else is disabled on your system.
Does it look like Luna or like Classic? Is your Theme Service enabled?

The patcher said it installed correctly, and to restart, It still didn't work (I could still choose between the normal Windows themes in Appearance)
It looks like Luna, what exactly is Theme Service?
I still don't see how this isn't working right, I have the same exact configuration as my other computer.

What happens if you go into WINDOWSResourcesTiger, and double click on Tiger.msstyles in that folder? The Display Properties -> Appearance tab window should open automatically and show the file. If it looks like OS X, then hit apply. If it is all messed up, then the patch didn't work properly or install at all. Zip your uxtheme.dll file in windowssystem32 and e-mail it to flyakite19 at hotmail.

I think I may have found the problem. Tiger theme isn't even installed..
Any reason why Flyakite wouldn't install it?
If you can just e-mail me that part, send it to howdges@gmail.com.

Just to find out... you said you clicked everything you wanted installed? Does that mean you DID check to install the "Tiger Visual Style" in the Skins section of the installer? If not, then there is your answer right there.....
If you are 100% sure you did select that option, then its possible the installer couldn't read the location of your resources folder. That's probably not the case, but the only thing I can think of if you actual did select that option.
