Hi everyone,

I wasn't sure if I wanted to put this in the icon thread, but I wanted to put the Power docklet in this thread (anyway) when its released. I hope its ok with the mods!

The power docklet is almost complete. All I need is the icons (as always, albeik needs icons! :shy:)

Number of icons, actually. Each indicating different levels of the battery.
Here are a the different "Charge Statuses" I'll be showing as Icons:

1) High
2) Low
3) Critical
4) Charging
5) No system battery -- AC Power
6) Unknown status

Can anyone help?

Thanks to everybody in advance!

I just wanted to add that I like this battery icon. If someone can modify it to add levels (red/green for critical or something...)

Just wanted to throw that one out!

I got the icon from AquaXP.com's Download page, as System Icons.

I got them all! :)

Can you send me an icons_readme.txt file indicating any needed information about the icons? I will include the text file as part of the power docklet package.

You can email me the text file at albeik@yzdocklets.com

Thank you again,

Hi everyone,

The first beta version of the Power Docklet is up!
Check it out at http://www.yzdocklets.com/.

I didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time testing it on the laptop. If you can give me some feedback (no doubt) I would like to know how responsive it is on different machines.

For the PC users... your just going to get the AC Power icon (hopefully) all the time.

Please read the text files included for installation.

The new website is still underconstruction, none of the readme texts are on the site. So you have to read the files.

Thanks & Enjoy,

Albeik,
you truly rule!
unbelievable work.
Appealing layout and clean design of your site just shows how good you are!

keep it up

OFF TOPIC - Albeik, i know your site is "yz docklets" but i wanted to know if you think about having these things implemented on the new upcoming mobydock as well? If yes, perhaps i should hook you and moby up for further information - please let me know if you're interested (the new version of mdx9 is surprising).

thanks!!

Albeik - your first bug report!

First of all, it runs GREAT! Amazing response time, great design and concept. However, on mouseover, it gives me this title: 92% remaining (charging) c7

I can only assume the c7 refers to the icon displayed on the dock. But why is it there?

That's all I've noticed so far. I have a bit of a tangential request, though. Is there anyway elpincho could release a template of his icons for color modification like the ical icons (you know, redone in blue, lime and orange)? Because I would love to get the "juice" in different blues to match my dock.

Thanks, Albeik! My dock is currently running your weather, power, and ical docklets, and is eagerly awaiting your drives docklet! YOU ROCK!!

Thanks for your comments mgehrett. The c7 should not be there. I had it for debug reasons! Sorry for the inconvenience. It is fixed, and uploaded. Same version number.

and thanks everyone for your kind comments!

Outstanding docklet once again Al, you truly amaze me. I have a favor to ask of someone with a laptop here. Can he or she send me a good screenshot of the docklet in use say at about 90 or 85 percentile charged? Im using it for news but need a screenshot of it in use correctly. Thanks again Al. Laterz.

To make sure that I understand you right... do you mean a custom label for different stats?

.. and thanks everyone for your kind comments. :)

I'm just draining the battery a bit now, then I'll send you a pic. Do you want the dock to be a specific size?

yes.
If the status is 85% of battery, you label shows "5:28 hours (98%) remaning" and I would want to be showed (I'm italian) "5:28 ore (98%) rimasti".
