Hi people!

[EDITED]Site and download links working and updated. Sorry for this. Have fun!!! :D[EDITED]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the latest version from Moby. You can dowload it from here:

http://www.mobydock.tk.

The site is still under development. If you have problems acessing this url please report here. I will give you an alternative url.

Here is whatīs new in this version:

- many bug-fixes

- smoother magnification-effect

- FASTER

- no more use of an imagelist-file. just place them in the dockconfig-folder
(don't rename / move the default-icons in the dockconfig/defaults-folder, just replace them !)

- this version has full support for drag&drop :

- drop new items between two existing items to add them

- you can also move existing items by dragging them around !

- delete items by dropping them off the dock-area (with nice poff-animation)

- you can drop files ( e.g. *.htm to internet explorer, *.jpg to photoshop) to open them with the
application you are dropping it on ( NO SUPPORT FOR COPYING FILES TO FOLDERS SO FAR) !

- there is an OPTION to use the mobydock in the background and not on top !

- the snapshots of Internet Explorer and folders are updated as soon as you switch the
foreground-window (optional)!

- there is an OPTION to let icons bounce when they are started via the dock

- in the item-properties, there is a new option/combo-Box to set special-system-items l

ike
'my computer', 'my documents' etc. these settings overrule the default-settings

Have fun!!!

Loaded it up and now I have a dilemma...Moby .65 or OD .55...both seem to work very well at first glance.

My Mobydock is considerably slow, especially compared to Y'z Dock. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, but Y'z Dock is much faster for me.

I must be doing something wrong, but I can never get MobyDock to load. Well, it does load up and run (according to my task manager), but nothing appears on the desktop after I've double clicked the exe file. Does anyone else have this problem, and more importantly, how can I fix this!

Thanks,

Ken

Please note everyone, there is a seperate thread for bug reports and running issues.

Just thought I'd bring it to your attention, so that if you have a problem it will most likely be noticed FIRST on the bugs thread.

No, no.  I served Moby about 15,000 times when the site was down.  I just wanted a link back!

What do you mean ClockWise? That should be a link pointing to your site?
Remember that this is not the finished site itīs only a temporary one where people can download the latest version.
The full site will have several sections, links included. Moby will give me more indications about these situations for the full site. So donīt worry...

Cheers
