After 5 months of working I am proud to release the long awaited first release of AveScripter v1.0

You can all download it at avedesk.philc.ca
DirectLink
You only need to register if you plan to upload stuff.

The package includes the following Skins:

Battery Meter
Calculator
Calendar
Clock
ITunes
News Ticker
Picture Viewer
RSS Feed
Weather

Also is the XML SDK which was reviewed by NightCrawler

Special Thanks to Andreas (aka Ave) for all your help to get this done.
NightCrawler for document.
KOL for all the artwork done in the include Skins. (BIG Thank you, since I can't draw)
And a few others that my mind has gone blank right now sorry.

I'd also like to take this time to say sorry to anyone who reads the ITunes script. I coded it all today.

Rimmer, I'll be releasing the SDK very soon for you.. give me a few days.. I'm tired of coding.. Been doing a bit too much coding in the past few days :slant:

Anyhow. Enjoy all... I'm going to take a break from my computer now before my eyeballs fall out.

I'm sure Andreas will *hint hint* start a suggestion thread and bug if any.

:) Excellent!

Edit: Whew! Boy I'm glad I didn't undertake some of the ideas I had in SysStats 'cause you've provided an easy way to accomplish these.

I've added the direct link incase you can't get the site to display the listings.. (Bad move from my part. I started a backup site sesssion so mysql seems to be down) But the direct link works fine.

I am absolutely in shock. The level in quality in pcm and kol's collaboration is second to none. :o

ditto. I still have a question though. I added the files into the desklet folder and only the calculator desklet shows up under Avescripter in my Load Desklet window.

Please help

My pleasure :). I'm just glad to see it's working so well. Still have to download the final version, but, as you can see by the post on the front page, I know it's going to be great ;).

Thanks again!

I am very excited for this very professional and polished release. Great Work!!

However, I am getting a similar problem to solarsaur. None of the desklets under the Avescripter are loading. When I try to add an Avescript desklet there arent any available desklets. I can add the Avescript but it is only a question mark and there doesnt appear to be a way to get a desklet loaded in it.

Whoooohoooo! Finally!

Pcm, sir, I'm waiting for the SDK submissively, as I cannot work on my apps as much as when I was a student. I subdue my passion because I must sleep at nights, see my girl (and play guitar for her) at evenings, and, of course, do my job all the rest of my day. So, thank you for this release, have enough rest, and only then make a real good SDK. I wish all the best for you.

P.S. You guys really scared me with that forum moved. I thought Ave has taken offence at something and did stop all the work at A-S.org. Or maybe AVD has gone shareware and hence left the Community Applications category.
