1. Post in proper sub-forum
2. Use tags
3. Untill you're 100% sure try not to use pretentious titles
4. I don't think this is a rip of FOSX 2. It doesn't even have the same images and FOSX (even though the best) isn't the only transformation pack out there)

mddenapoli was kind enough to send me a PM about his post, although a bit aggressive. Here is the short version of what I answered.

My work is not a rip of Flyakite. I started my project two years ago, and the first versions of Flyakite's pack were very limited at this time (I wasn't even aware of it). Our both projects grown up in parallel, with a lot of differences in the beginning (especially the fact I provided a pack fro french systems, and Flyakite for english ones) ; but when we both release a multi-language system nine monh ago, differences went smaller and smaller. I included some of his ideas, while he took some of mine.

There is a lot of connections beetween both, obviously : I grant Flyakite for his pack in my ReadMe file, and he included iColorFolder in FlyakiteOSX... We even exchanged some pieces of of code these days ;) Our packs are similar but still different ; I think it closes the subject.

Sheesh, haven't any of you known about WinOSX before? I could have sworn I've seen people post it on here. Anyway, it is not a rip. KemenAran and I have talked quite a bit lately, and exchanged ideas and whatnot. He has granted me permission to use iColorFolder and even made a special installer build which strips out the extra skins and adds special switches for my needs. You should all be thankful.

Also, there is nothing saying anyone can't make a pack like mine. While yes, it would be great to be the only person in the world with an OS X transformation pack, that's just not how it is. WindowX released a Mac transformation pack awhile back, as did Devil in Disguise.

The code in my installer is closed source. I am the only one who has access to the project files. Any other pack that is created is made from scratch, or at least not using my code. KemenAran does good work and I have no problem with him and he is a great programmer. Competition just makes you try harder.

And this concludes this week's episode of "I should take a closer look before i start pointing fingers".

Thanks all for watching!
