AMD Thunderbird 1GHz
nVidia GeForceFX5500OC
Graphics card should be fast enough, although WindowFX says nVidia cards don't support things like this and have to use a "fallback" mode for higher speeds...
I know my CPU isn't very fast, so I'm not complaining about the lag before the effect starts. But the effect itself is slow.

The genie effect is not working well here either...
AMD3500+
nforce3 mobo
geforce6600agp
nforce 88.84 drivers
directX 9.0c

There you go, nVidia problems.
Running on DX9c as well. So that can't be the problem.
Radu, if you can find out how the "fallback" mode works and get it into RK, we all nVidia users would really appreciate it.
If there's an nVidia user here without any problems, I'd like to hear from him.

cpu - fx 55 2.5ghz
gfx card - 7800gtx
effect is too slow and grabs other window images along with it.
