It goes like this:
First hour (8:30) I download iTunes 6 so when mPlugin is updated I can install both.
Last hour (six minutes ago) I check, and mPlugin is out.
This happens every time, and I love it. I'm going to need to order a laptop soom so I can constantly check for updates to mPlugin. Thanks localhost. This makes everything much more amazing.

By the way, do skins for 5.0.1.4 work in v6?

Did you change the name of the folder to match iTunes 6?
We have to wait for the skin developers to update their skins.

about iTunes 5 skins working in iTunes 6:
if you rename the folder inside the main skin folder from "5.x.x.x" to "6.x.x.xx" the skin does load. unfortunately, since the song title display and some buttons have been added and/or altered, some of the bitmaps won't load and appear to be broken.

a small solution:
if you don't want to wait for a skinner to update his/her skin, or if the skinner is one of those types that doesn't update (lol), i would suggest doing a resource dump, and then comparing all of the files from the resource folder and your skin folder. then you can make whatever changes are necessary, indluding the addition of a skin_data.ini file. good luck .

Very nice suggestion Sakurakira the only problem is that when I do a resource dump, it doesn't dump correctly, it only dumps 2 or 3 resources.
However I will try again

How odd. I just tested it now and in the skins>developer template folder was another folder named "6.0.0.18" and in it are all 518 files for making a skin. My only suggestion would be to delete the dev template folder, make sure you have the default skin on, close iTunes, open iTunes, and do a resource dump again. good luck x_x;.
