That's interesting! When I search for the subject line of the email ('NY?'), GDS finds it, but Getchoo doesn't; but if I take an extract from the text and search on that ('a brief query'), then Getchoo gets it (getchoos it?). Thanks for your pointer - I think Getchoo is one of the most useful things I've found in ages...

A little suggestion, more of a quick usability issue than anything else, i notice when you open the search box by clicking on the taskbar icon, the blinking text line is in the text box but you cant type inside until you click inside of the text box. So its 2 clicks (one on the button, one on the text box) then you type. It would be easier if you could just type the second you push the taskbar button....
And 2 more things maybe, haha, id like to see the option to make the search in the text box disappear after a file is found, cuz i find myself having to delete my last query before entering a new one... and an option to make certain file extentions not appear in the search (such as .lnk or .htm).
Wow, now im just getting picky and annoying.
But wow this is a great app, ive been using it at work to sift through our archive of over 10,000 numbered art files, its instant and always finds exactly what i type in. Definitely wicked, keep up the awesome work!

I taskkill explorer on startup.
so is there a way to access the Getchoo bar(I mean the searchfield) without clicking the tray icon?
Another question:
WindowBlinds does not change the close buttom of the "Show All" window to the left side.
Is it a pre-theme(irrelevent to wb skins) window?

A little update:

Getchoo M4 is coming along nicely, getting some of the new features rolling out over the next few days.
I wanna talk a little about donations (im sorry >.< but theyre so important). Basically the more money thats donated - the more time I can spend on Getchoo = more features and a cooler app for you guys! Every pound counts! Just a fiver or so allows me to finish or add another cool feature.
But whats in it for you I hear you cry in unison?
Well, other than the fact its a nice way of saying thanks for the many many weeks spent programming this little beaut, it also allows me to add more features. Plus, those of you who donate more than £2 or so will become beta testers. Those who are REALLY generous (over £15) will get a single free license of Getchoo Gold (when it's released) which will be a new version of Getchoo geared towards corporate environments
It will include things like Advanced Search etc.
Thanks so much for hearing me out
Look forward to Getchoo M4 ! Coming soon.

I will donate a fiver in appreciation for the humble request to incorporate my earlier request:
Would you consider implementing this feature in the near future?
I will donate when i get home tonight, or actually, sooner

Could you please add a right click "Open Containing Folder" option that takes you to the file highlighted in explorer, think iTune's "Show song file" right-click menu option.
This feature would make Getchoo immediately usable to me, and I would appreciate it greatly

alilm - for those of us using ObjectBar, is it possible to have arguments - so that for instance we can set up a shortcut item which is like;
getchoom4.exe -toggle
or something like that? Cos obviously just linking to the exe means that it loads a new instance under every click (and even then needs to be activated through the systray). Thanks for all your hard work alilm.
