wooooo! thatnks man this looks like a great update.... :).....btw another idea for an addition to multiplugin.....the ability to support other mp3 players (ie the drag and drop function....i wouldn't need it as i have 20gig ipod but it would be good if you could use itunes with other mp3 players!

I have an 20GB iPod too, so I won't be able to test it.
People who like Apple and use iTunes would probably buy an iPod and not another player anyway, so it's kinda irrelevant too.
Besides, maybe it's possible just to copy all the folders from an iPod (especially iPod_Control) to the other players's hard disk, and then iTunes will think it's an iPod.

I have to say you're doing a great job localhost.

I think I may have found a bug... or it could be the skin.

If I use the default skin, everything is fine in the title bar. If I use another theme, some of the characters come out as dots. I have songs with Japanese and Korean titles among others. French comes out fine. I guess it's CJK issue.

I'm using susumu's STOMP with default fonts. Same thing happens with all the themes that are included as well. I'm using iTunes v4.9.0.12 and Multi-Plugin v0.68.

Well, since I'm working on my project and using mini iTunes Remote, it doesn't bother me, but I don't think anyone mentioned this yet and I'm sure it'll bother someone and I'm sure it'll bother me when I have iTunes in the foreground and not working on something or another computer.

Thanks.

Now back to the project. >.<

That's the nature of the LucidaMAC font, and all the Type1 fonts I've seen. They don't support anything other than English. You can change it to Lucida Grande or something that supports Unicode well.

Does anyone know if it's possible to create a full unicode Type1 font?

Thanks localhost. It worked like a charm.

I tried it with mikachan font (otf) and it looks great except for Korean where it uses some other font and it looks too small... Is there a way to change the font size in the title and the main fonts? What would be a great feature.

Tryed the new version & it still doesn't work :(
I install it & try to start itunes & still no go but if I look in the itunes/plugins directory there is a 0 byte file with the same name as the plugin. Is it trying to copy itself & failing?
So I'll reiterate.. I Install the plugin, & there is a 600k dll file in the main itunes directory, when I try to start Itunes I get an hourglass & then nothing. I look in the itune directory & the dll is still there, but if I look in the plugins directory underneath there is a 0 byte file with the same name as the dll. I tryed copying the dll into the plugins directory so that there was a 600k file in both but when i started up itunes it overwrote it again :(
Not sure if you can help?

the 0 byte file should be there if iTunes crashes before Multi-Plugin deletes it (which is just before the main window should appear).
I'm currently working on it, I have no idea what's the problem.

-DarkPhoeniX- - again, what OS and SP are you using?

XP pro, SP2.

Well, I did a rollback to a previous system checkpoint, to before it stopped working, and it seems to have done the trick, I'm now quite baffled as to what caused it to crash on me...

Although I had noticed the appearance of the zero byte dll when it did crash.

If you find out what's causing it, please post it.
did you install 0.68 on the previous checkpoint? or is it 0.67 running as it did earlier?

Hmm, same problem as above. iTunes will not open with the multi-plugin installed now. It was working fine yesterday, now I started my system today and iTunes wont launch.

I'm on a 2.5 Ghz Intel P4

XP Pro SP2

512 MB of ram

I havent made any significant changes to my system other then activating it recently. And I wont do a rollback because I have too many files I could potentially lose doing that (can't remember where or what I've worked on in the past few days, it's been quite a bit).

I wish I knew what's the problem :(
It has always been working fine here.

btw, I've noticed everyone that reported it has a P4.
could you try disabling HyperThreading?
It shouldn't be related but who knows.

Did 2.5GHz P4s have Hyper Threading? I thought it was just 3.4 and up.

BTW, MultiPlugin is great and is one thing that I can't live without. Thanks localhost.

IIRC there are HT ones from 2.4GHz and up.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it :)

did you try to uninstall Multi-Plugin and tell it to delete the settings?
also, maybe try renaming iTunes.pref in C:Users%USERNAME%Application DataApple ComputeriTunes and see if Multi-Plugin works then.
