your "usercontent_new.zip" had "tons" of adblocking integrated. But I have it working fine actually, thank you :)

The JavaScript console reported some errors in the FF 1.5 usercontent:

line 143 is missing px in the height declaration
line 266 has 100%px as value for width
line 313 boarder instead of border

hmm oops, line number is not actually helpful unless you have my usercontent file :)
Just look at your JavaScript console after you loaded FF to get your lines.

Yes. That one does. The latest one I posted doesn't. I'll take a look at the the errors reported.

I tried this and I got the same old gmail look. I had urlid but it doesn't work on 1.5 so I cnt use that. I edited the usercontent.css file and did that but still getting the same old look? Am I doing something wrong?

yup, you must be doing something wrong. I am using FF 1.5 and it works for me. Make sure you are "mixing" Judge's two zips the way he described it for FF 1.5.

Y'all make sure you get the right userContent.css file. At some point FF created a whole new profile for me so search your application folder just in case there's another one.

Maybe look at your JavaScript console (on the Tools menu) and see if its saying anything.

hey judge...i've searched my computer and i don't even have an application folder believe it or not. my profile is in the "programs" folder...mozilla, firefox, default, chrome, profile, yadda yadda yadda. is it possible for you to send me the exact userContent.css file for the g-mac skin? i have the urid extension installed as well as the chromedit extension in firefox. the g-mac skin is so awesome. it's driving me nuts not being able to access it. thanks again!

lol, I'm sorry. Okay here
1-open any folder
2-go to "tools"
3-click on Folder Options
4-You'll see 3 tabs, click on the View tab
5-Now you'll see a bunch of stuff checked adn unchecked
-check show hidden files and folders

hope that helps

moe...the only thing i had to do was replace the "gmail google com" in the file to "mail google com" in all instances it took place in the file. it worked fine except for having the author's email address at the top. i'd rather have my own email address there or the gmail logo itself. i hope this helps.
