webclips? please explain what part of it those are.
The part where it says: 'Read items from any RSS or Atom feed right here'. Trouble is of my two gmail accounts, it only occurs on one of them

BTW google have changed the URL they use so y'all have to edit the userContent.css file and change all occurrences of gmail-google-com to mail-google-com.

I have to say that this is ****ing amazing. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention. I'm using rawmade's variant.
BTW I used to have the climbing left buttons but it seems to have fixed itself.
Also how do you remove those damn webclips? I only have it on one of my accounts.

Hey guys,
I really wanted the Gmail skin for my Firefox browser. But I am doing something wrong as it isnt working.
Let me tell you what i did. I installed the URLid.
After that I downloaded the css file. Since my XP PC has multiple user accounts, I wasnt so sure about where to put the CSS file. Since i found 2 chrome folders under my folder as well. Anyway i put it in the location as given below..
C:Documents and SettingsShumeyApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesgykogjv9.defaultchrome
There was a css file there already, i just clicked to replace it. Can anyone point out what i am doing wrong? Thanks.. Really appreciate it..

1) that weird overlapping compose email button... sometimes its on the place its supossed to be, sometimes not... i would love to know how you fixed this.
2) the weird > symbol that appears on top your email messages.
3) the colored borders.

Theoretically, yes.
Functional? No.
It would take a lot of work, and the "Move Message to" feature wouldn't work, among others.
You'd also have to take a look at the Google API for displaying the file size on the front page. In short, it's more work than it's worth.

I asked my buddy thespook on DA about the problems some are haveing with this skin and this is what he had to say ...
"I had a read through the thread, the only problems i could pick up where that the left menu would be too high for some people, and something about 'webclips'...
shouldn't be too much of a problem to sort out, if you make use of the following bookmarklets: Mouse
Over Dom Inspector, show actual source (handy for javascript generated pages like gmail) you should be able to pinpoint the elements that need styling, and with test styles you can tinker around in realtime to see if the styles are right...
maybe pass those three links to them, and when i get a chance i'll check the thread again and if they still haven't sorted it i'll have a crack at it "
Hope this can help.

gMac 1.01 fix -- gmail domain change.
1: Visit persistent.info to find out how to install it.ok
2: Download the attatched Gmail skin userContent.txt file and rename it to userContent.css.
IMPORTANT!
**// - to get a generic .mac email logo (the top right) change the image number from "...1.gif" to "...2.png" in the css file - //**
This is my first attempt at css. So feel free to customize it (make it better), just let me know the results, and keep my name in there somewhere. Thanks.
