Hi nobodyuse,

I just wanted to let you know that I dloaded and installed the Snow E2 ShellPack today and it worked just fine.

Thanks to you and the team for all your hard work, and please let us know when the Elements ShellPack is complete.

This is great - thanks so much! I wish I had discovered it before I shelled out for WindowBlinds last week - but at least I get to run your version of Snow.E2 on my laptop.

I like it a lot, the snow pack looks awesome, and I love the ability to mod the whole system, instead of just the icons/VS

c_I_d_j,

I did just that earlier. I installed the d3a pack, decided I didn't like it. So, I uninstalled it first and then installed the Snow E2 pack. It worked out fine

Great way of doing it from what I have played with, the only problem I have had is that the installer has falen over on me twice (which meant no uninstall script). The first time it fell over was on the uxtheme.dll which was already patched (on d3a pack) and the second time it fell over unpacking one of the icons from the 'elements' pack :/

I never unsintalled to start with, I just installed a new pack on top of the old one, whch was a mistake too. When I removed the just installed pack, it went back to the other pack that was installed (KidsXP) which I wasnt as keen on, and since d3a didnt install right, I couldnt install to get back to the standard XP system settings. So I now have a hybrid kinda system which has got the 'elements' icons but runing the lamina blue edition style..

Oh, well - thanks - still cool way of modding the entire system though (anyone able to recommend a way to get back to my default settings before I touched hese Universal Shell Packs?)

@Stom: it should have created a restore point when it installed, so you can always revert to that.

Stom,

May I ask, where did you find the Elements pack? I have not seen that one listed on any of the Universal Shell Pack associated sites.

Thanks in advance

i´ve been dreaming with a pack with ESnow icons... you did an amazing jobs with those packs. I´ve found just one bug: "jagged icons on left columm of the StartMenu (My Documents, Pictures, System Preferences and so on). That's happen because those icons are 3/4 of the size selected for icons on the Display Properties.

So, if you want to solve this problem (at least for those who use 72 pixels icons) you will need to put 54x54 pixels icons on you files... at least for those icons that could be used on that part of the StartMenu.

Anyway... amazing job.

Are you going to do a Vista icon pack? I know there isn't much to it but it seems that's the hot thing right now.
