I stuck three docklets from dockex.com onto Y'z dock - iCal, Battery Gauge, and a SysStats monitor that I have set to show CPU and RAM usage. I've noticed that my CPU usage never seems to drop below about 12%, and if I remove those three docklets from Y'z dock, it drops back down to 0-4%.

Is this just a Y'z dock flaw, or are there similar problems with ObjectDock? It's not that I need to keep my processor usage down for other applications or anything; I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do make the dock less of a resource hog.

TIA for any info.

from what I noticed, it's a sysstats' problem, not yzdock's or whatever dock's hope that the developpers will fix that in the next release of sysstats. ;)

in that case, is there a different docklet I can use? Mostly I just want to be able to monitor my CPU and RAM usage - I used to use statbar, but it doesn't really go with the dock and Panther themes very well. :P
