Hello.......just wondering if anyone else has had the problem where while using "The Weather" widget.......instead of refreshing and showing the appropriate weather it says, "Missing". I've been using Konfab since it was released and the first time it had problems displaying the weather icon was yesterday so it's something new. Thanks for any help offered!

I've received this several times where I am as well...which is a shame.

If this could be fixed, I would be most appreciative

and btw it is cold where I am...so perhaps cold-oriented images are affected? or rain/snow?

Do you mean the Samurize images or the Samurize port of this widget? I have the Samurize images, but didn't really think twice about using them...hehe :P

I meant the app. There are tons of weather icons/images in the weather support forums on Samurize.com...if you need some, we got'em. As far as the "Samurize port of this widget"...no such thing...we make all our own stuff...no ports of any weather stuff that I know of, you can make a much better config without porting Konfabulator. Torsius has created a great plugin that does virtually anything, weather wise, you can imagine...

Ummmmmmmmm for some reason I don't see anything beneficial about me reading a blank reply screen to figure out what's wrong with my weather icons. But thanks anyway................

Please don't think I meant this as offensive...I was under the impression that there was a samurize script that functioned similar to the Konfabulator widget. I was not trying to suggest that Konfabulator inspired any Samurize weather widgets, or anything else. I have the utmost respect for Samurize; I know its nothing but a high-class product

Now that thats over with, I'm still missing weather icons :P But I'll look in some of the weather icon configs I downloaded from the Samurize forums months ago (if I can find them!) :)

Hey KMDonlon.........I already have Sammy as you know but until the graphic quality of the other ones catch up...................KONFAB has the other apps beaten as far as that is concerned!

If you're behind a proxy, you can't get Konfabulator to access the Internet as of yet.

http://www.samurize.com/modules/ipboard/in...?showtopic=3857

...and no worries, I am not offended at all...just sharing info MDZ61384:)

I know who ya are Nate...what do you mean Sammy's graphics aren't up to snuff....I ain't got any problems with graphics...You can always make and add what ever you want, Sammy just displays them...I am confused as to what you mean..

has anyone ever considered that it isnt Konfab's fault?

Maybe weather.com is down...maybe the INTARWEBZ are broken...either way, there are many variables people tend to forget when an app doesnt work perfectly and they usually blame the developer before they get the facts.

KMDonlon..............I'm just playin' around with you.........sort of! All I'm saying is that I prefer the look of the Konfab widgets compared to some of the other applications. Also I am a fan of the fact that Konfab widgets are so much easier to configure than some of the Sammy widgets. This is of course in part to the fact that I don't know any code so......SHAME ON ME!
