Hello yoannez and "welcome" to AS

1st i`d like to inform u of several things about AS

1. there rules for thread posting that say that threads must be "tagged". this would be a [help] or [request] thread.
2. Search function is enabled and working great
3. may i direct you to a several tens (if not hundreds) of pages related to a program called AveDesk (a search would lead u there too ;) ). it`s in the Community Apps forum
4. There is a tutorial for that great program which will give u the effect u desire
5. Next time u post a thread without using search, u will be banned for 2 days.

Now who dares to say i`m not kind to neewbies? :P

edit: Thank Bz cause he`s the reason i spared u

Hi

Just for the record, I have indeed made several search for what I whant, no luk
Maybe I have explained my self incorrecltly.

I know about avedesk, I have tested it and it's terrible as far as I can tell for the purpose I want.
The thing is the folowing.
As everybody knows the drive icons are shown in my computer.
I have found a post about getting the drive icons in the desktop by regestry tweaking.
My question is, is it possible to make this icons beave like if they were in the my computer view instead of the desktop.
This without using any software.
Thanks
An sorry for the english.

I don't believe you can do it without a third-party app. Samurize can give you a decent substitute with some work.

desktop x from stardock (i recommend the enhanced version) will do it quite nicely. also icon x, a free program from stardock can also do the trick. ave something can also have even more customizeable and useful icons. they can animate, enlarge, etc. me, i just make the icons bigger to 48 size. nothing much. unbeliver, i feel so sorry for you. how many posts have i seen you have 1, welcome to as, 2, etc. 15? 20? man you really need to rest man ;) yoanez, try these programs and remember to use the correct subforums and read the rules. good luck!
