Don't throw out your iMac G3 Rate Topic: -----

Every one, don't throw out your iMac G3 (I am pretty sure it is a G3). Rip out the guts of it and replace it with a x86 pc and load up xp then emulate the OSX environment, check out the article over at Engadget.

OT: Any one in Aus got one they no longer have a use for and want to flog off for a couple of $?

puhahahahaha~

"Software wise I am running Windows XP Professional," Tony writes. "As you can see in the pictures the desktop looks much like Mac OS X. I used two programs to create this look. For the overall theme I used Style XP along with an OS X theme. And for the bar on the bottom I used Y'z Dock."

I don't know but it was funny to me.....

why not install macosx on it than taking out all the hardware and make a pc out of it and emulate it to a mac? sounds veeery stupid to me Posted Image

In the guide it sais he wanted it for gaming and I am guessing he wanted newer hardware (a little more grunt)
