Can't select an avatar.
Search doesn't seem to be working (tried searching for Pandion, couldn't find anything; also searched for ludge [which I know has produced results] which didn't work either)
Topic Subscriptions haven't ported. Don't know if this was intentional, or what.
What's with the DOB register thing?
I'll keep looking! Amazing job, though!
My one problem is the fact that our avatars can't be 128*128- they have to be 100*100 at most.
Profile Links don't seem to be working, either, at least not for me.

Make things similar graphically (if possible) to IPB- i.e Post Reply on the right side, and the same User CP menu orientation (Profile settings part at the bottom, subscriptions in the middle, and I don't remember at the top).
About the avatar- it actually isn't fixed
Oh, and definitely- stop the WYSIWYG editor icons from looking like MS WORD! I don't know if that's skin governed, but I'm currently retching:). Also, add the old emoticons.
And, remove the ability to add a Title to your post- I just don't think it's necessary, although it's really up to you.
I'll edit this post as inspiration strikes:).

P.S: Saw Stevie's post. You do realize, Stevie, that most 13-year olds are likely to lie about their age?

This is because the topics haven't been indexed by vBulletin's search engine. From what I understand, vB actually uses a real search engine to do searching, rather than IPB's method of serially scanning topics for keywords. In other words, this allows much more advanced searching possibilities (related topics, etc.). The downside, of course, is that the topics need to be indexed. This'll get done sometime when it gets done.

This is something we can't do much about. Different formats. Probably related to the above stuff.

We now limit (new) registrations to age 13 and up.

This is intentional - as long as the avatars are defaulting to above the post, we want them that little bit smaller so that we don't have so much scrolling.

Dunno about that...
Things I've noticed - I don't like the lack of detail/features on quoting. I want my multi-quote option, as well as the snapback buttons. That's gonna be a mod
Things I very much like - easy to add custom BBCode, easy to add new profile fields, far more granular permissions, much more control overall.
Things I'm not happy with - aforementioned lack of snapback and multi-quote, fugly skin, lack of familiarity.
Overall, the "issues" I have with vB compared to IPB are really only ones of familiarity with IPB...

Yeah, a lot of the options that should probably be turned on by default are turned off.
[edit: Ah, HTML code is turned off, that's why my sig isn't working correctly. Also, if you rollover the various icons for posting options (the smilies, cut/paste, and all the rest), the tool tips seem to freeze for a few seconds, at least in Firefox. ]
@Stevie- ok about the avatar thing. Did there used to be an automatic resizer or something that would resize your avatar if it was above a certain size (done through IPB, I'm not talking about an external program that we would use), or am I thinking of something else?

Not that I'm in anyway shape or form a moderator or have anything to do with this other than the fact I registered and have been lurking for awhile but;
That's the defualt setting in vb, it can be changed and I'm sure will be delt with as things are handled.
The things you discribe would actually invovle modifing the style templates base HTML exstensivly. While it can be done, I don't think the current admins will be doing such things anytime soon. VB3 is easy to use, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
All the WYSIWYG images are part of the current style and can be changed, but thats up to the admins.
Avatar size is located under USER GROUPS in the ADMINCP under the setting Picture Uploading Permissions, you can limit the AVATAR sizes for different groups, ie: Registered, Admins, Mods, etc.

Untill we can figure out how to get user info on the left of posts, they have to stay small or we will have 90% of the page wasted because of large avatars lol.
Admin CP -> vBulletion Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template -> Yes

Is there a Window Blinds forum? I seem to remember that under IPB2 it was in Customizing Windows->Visual Styles->Windowblinds
I saw Dream_Team's post [preview] Aqua-Sunken Milk, and it was closed because it was released. I couldn't find it
I'm not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place, but where's the WB forum?
thanks,
D
