Was just doing some mockups in photoshop for the new skin, and was putting the avatar on top of each post kinda like how VB3 has it, looks pretty cool, but avatars then will allowed to be a max of 64x64px which is by all means fine with me, but I know you guys are icon whores so your going to want bigger ones :P.

So please let me know yalls thoughts before I go any further with this.

I perfer the smaller ones mainly due to them not being as distracting.

Ignore the design, but in terms of the postbit layout I was talking about.

128X128 the best, 64x64 is too small.

96x96 would be a compromise - but 64 is too small.

If thats the sort of layout you're thinking of, change my vote to 64x64.

I was going to say 128x128, but I wouldn't mind if that is the layout, though.

Small avatars all the way. Dunno what it is, the 128px ones are just annoying imo.

Timan, your design wastes a lot of vertical pixel space, while gaining less
horizontal pixels, if this is to be the header to every post in a thread.

I'd even trade width for height in a new design; see how I'm breaking the lines
in this post to make it more readable - on a 1600x1200 display this sentence
would sprawl over the entire desktop if my browser was maximized. Maybe
considering an automatic break to the width of the add reply box would add
readability but not huge Longhornesque titlebars, IMHO.

my $0.02.
