im a huge fan of the alien movies, and i love giger, hes one of my favorite artest. so i was really happy to hear they were making a new aliens movie.
i thought the predator movies were ok, first one was better. so i was pritty exited about this movie.

now....i saw it last night. and hear are my thoughts. the movie has some really awsome parts. and some down right retarded parts. let me explain.
the good:
-the predators looked awsome, they redid the clokeing effect. and there vision. basicly redid everything.
-aliens were ofcoarse awsome, they did some new stuff with the facehuggers. and u got to see the queen rampaging(very cool)
-predators and the aliens kicken eachothers ass's. i got chills when they first started going at it.
-refrences from both the alien and preditor movies. they really ballenced it well for fans of just one or the other.
-ending was cool

the bad:
-PLOT!,im not gonna spoil it for people who havn't seen it and want to. but there is a part were u will want to yell at the screen and say. ARE U SERIOUS?
-the action was good, but quick. i would have like maybe 10 more minets of some action. the last 30 minets seemed rushed.
-the first 2 alien movies followed a patter of a slow start. wich worked for them, but i think it hurt this movie.

Want to see. I'm just glad to hear it hasn't spoiled (or at least too much) the Alien/Predator universes.

Mind you I'm easily pleased. I rather like Alien3 (Director's Cut).. :6

But this time there's only three baby predators and two of them was killed by aliens within minutes.
Anyway, I like it!!! I think it's better than "Freddy vs. Jason".

And a few days later, "Exorcist: The Beginning" will be on. And then, "Anacondas: The Hunt For the Blood Orchid". And then, "Resident Evil: Apocalypse". OMG!!!! :woot:

there were some moments were this chick and a pred almost held hands when they walked. it was sweet

Damn...another hollywoodized movie then.
My point of asking that was to see if it was lame or not. The action might be cool, the special effects might be neat but if its holllywoodized with no plot it is probably a crappy movie overall.

@juno: its not THAT bad, i wouldn;t go as far as to say its been hollywoodised (is that a word). if anything fox might have pushed for some cheezy pg13 moments for a some new younger fans(not talking kids). but its still worth seeing.

I made up hollywoodized. I use it to refer to movies like the 2nd matrix.
