Hey all, it's not often I ask questions in here - I can usually make do with what Google throws up, but in this case, Google and I just don't seem to be vibing correctly...

Anywho, here goes - as some of you may well be aware, I use the Windows taskbar.
Anyway, I basically would like to hide a certain program (yes, I'm in the beta; no, I won't send you a copy) from showing on my taskbar so that I can use it day to day without it taking up precious taskbar space...

A registry edit would be ideal, but I'm even willing to try out third party apps, if needs be...

I would like to bump this thread as I am also interested in hiding a certain program (miranda at this time) from taking space in my taskbar.

there's a little app called hideit if that works..

Or use Trayit to send the program to the tray instead of taking up space in the taskbar:
