Just to let you iTines junkies know that there is a significant new version of QCD available at quinnware.com. The new version is B36. I will update the iTunes3 skin in the next few days to use some of the new features.

hey spidercrabx
what process should i go about to install the new version?...i don't want to overwrite the QCDplayer.exe and some of the dll's cause i downloaded the modified version from iceman's webpage.

also, are you able to see the entire "about iTunes" dialog with the modified version? about an inch of the bottom and right margins gets cut off on mine. (that is with b35, haven't installed b36 yet)

If you upgrade to B36 then the modified files from Iceman are very unlikely to work. So you could mod them yourself or wait until someone else does this. It won't be long I would think. It's pretty simple to modify if you know how to use Reshacker.

As for your other question I don't know because I am now running B36.

Does B36 add support for horizontal scrollbars???....That would be great.

No expandable playlist or horizontal scroll bars in B36. However there are many improvements and well worth the upgrade.

The iTunes3 skin for QCD has been updated. Get it here. Make sure you use the latest version of QCD, i.e. 3.40 B36 - or it won't work correctly.

Grisuc - I don't know for sure but a big change would be needed to support transparency. QCD is fast and easy to skin because it is based on .bmps today. I don't think there are any immediate plans to change to .pngs.

The shadows is more an issue for Windows.
