[help] How To Add Such A Shadow Rate Topic: -----

Im not really sure, if it's avedesk or dx (with nowhereman's panther label script), but I cant figure it out on how to put such a smooooth shadow under my shortcuts. Help :rolleyes:

Looks like Avedesk.

And if it's so, just go to the desklet properties, under the advanced tab and check the drop a shadow from the icon option.

Then choose your X & Y offsets, your Graytint and Alpha rate being 0 - transparent to 255 - opaque.

edit: Wow, the Seph-ness beat me to it. Dialups suck! :P

Under Desklet Properties >> Label tab, check the Shadow option.

I knew that. I just want it to look smooooth. The best result Ive got is this and it is NOT smooth at all (i mean the shadow)

Until Andreas adds alpha and graytint options for labels, I guess you just have to live with it. Perhaps the upcoming Avedesk 1.1 would incorporate this option.

it could be somebody with avedesk 1.1, there are a few people out there with test versions.

It could be Samurize with two text "things" (can't remember if "monitor is the correct word). One black, one white.

edit: nevermind, I just checked again and saw the blurred shadow.

It's desktopX, but I can tell you AveDesk 1.1 has much nicer shadows :naughty:

Sorry Andreas, DesktopX is so tempting :P I promise to get back to Avedesk as soon as I get some super-final version and we finish that goat that we are supposed to finish >.<
