What Unbeliever said. Please don't post replies in such old threads unless you have something really important to say. 'Thank you' is not included Instead you could PM the author.

unbeliever and pe8er: wtf is your collective problem? if you've found nothing worth reading, move on. cripes, roll your eyes and mutter to yourself in disgust for all i or anyone care. this is a forum. we've all signed up because we want to be involved in the community. if the level of involvement happens to be a 'thank you' to an author, i think that's actually a nice thing for someone to do.
what if someone n e w b (unbeliever's favorites!) joins the board today. 'hey, look!' he says. 'a really cool app. thx!' are you gonna berate this guy for not having found a-s sooner? i can hear it now: 'hi. i know you're new here. but in the future, please check the date of release before thanking the author.'
if you think a belated thank you is a waste of board space, how wasteful should we consider your negative comments on how a belated thank you is a waste of board space? concurrently, if a belated thanks is is not (and i quote pe8er) : "...really important...", then how are we to regard the purposeful expenditure of negative energy spent to merely say, 'don't do that.'
oh, yeah...and with nearly 6000 posts between you 2, are you gonna try and tell us that every single post you guys ever made was timely, topical and important?
look, i'm not trying to start a fight. really, i'm not. i just think you guys should lighten up. anyways, i am now braced for whatever you chose to hurl back at me, so do your worst (short of banning me, of course
