*with updates to Pe7er's Brushed skin

Posted Image

Notes

* Keep in mind that the buttons of this very skin will work natively with ANY skin due its ultimate alpha channel work.
* You can load AvePreview2 from the 'Right click>Open with' feature and assign this app permenantly to open all images.
* Like the OS X, this incredible app can also be activated from ANY dock you run.

IMPORTANT!!!:
- Always download the newest version first.
- Choose yes to overwrite existing folders and files for the Brushed/Default skin.

BTW, the latest release (which duckie included with his skin-pack) or could be downloaded at http://mpj.tomaatnet...AvePreview2.zip knows several shortcutkeys:

CONTROL + M -> Minimize
CONTROL + H -> Hide

CONTROL + Q -> Quit
CONTROL + W -> Close current window

CONTROL + ~ -> go to next instance of AvePreview

i understand you can change the association of it... but is there any way to change the "preview" right click menu to goto ave preview instead of windows picture and fax viewer.

This is a really great application. Anyway possible to assign my own hot keys? I miss having the right and left buttons scroll through the pictures

a second preview option would be fine.... having a "preview with avepreviewer" would be fine for a right click

in that case here's what u need...

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell\Preview\command]
@="\"C:\\Preview\\Preview.exe\" \"%1\""

make a new txt file and rename it to "menu.reg", then put the above in it.

To change the name on the menu u change "Preview" on the second line after shell. and to change the path u need to change the third line "C:\\Preview\\Preview.exe\" (remember the double slashes).

Another option is to set avepreview as the default program for opening the images... thats what i did and it works like a champ
