When using Mobydock I have a seemingly random problem where the icons go behind the background, or is that the background comes in front of the icons? :)

I've not been able to define any particular circumstance when this happens, it's just seemingly random and it will correct itself randomly. When this happens everything continues to function properly. The image below shows the problem.

System: Windows XP Pro + sp1, Matrox Parhelia running DualHead independent mode.

This is common. It isn't just you, many of us have had the same issue.

About the only fix is shutting it down and restarting it.

..or you could just go to the properties a couple of times and click accept, until it goes away.

hi,

you are right. it is a known bug. i had that problem too. i rearranged parts of the code, so it should not happen in the next release. but it would be helpful if someone can figure out when this happens , so i can fix it for sure !

Hee well that didn't take long :)

On my system at least the cause is the screensaver. First time the screensaver kicks in it sends the icons to the back, next time the icons are brought back to the fore and so on. However this only happens if I use one of the built in Microsoft OpenGL screensavers such as 3D Flying Objects, if I use something else like Marquee or Starfield the problem does not occur.

Hope that helps.
