Heres an easy fix,
http://www.winplosion.com/
$9.95
Works 100 times better then Iexpose and is smoother, faster, and extemely better coded. :moon:
"sorry to irk the maker of Iexpose with a product that is much better then yours, but for the people who don't have $9.95 to spend, Iexpose is a good product"

Winexpose??
I was mentioning Winplosion, and hate to say it but some serious deep level coding (core api's, open gl extentsion renderings, Nvidia mapping, and ATI logic functions coded) just to get Iexpose up to the point in which Winplosion was 3 months ago, not mention to new release coming next month which will push Iexpose back even further. I argree that its great to have a free app like iexpose coming out to the people, but its not in the same league as what is coming down the pike from Winplosion. I saw a demonstration of the new beta at the U of I tech show last week and my god, I would have never thought of the features which are rolling in Winplosion. They even have to green light to use Longhorn API sets from MS for the future OS.
I am not baggin on Iexpose, I am just pointing out that a better product is already out there, even if you have to pay $9.95 for it. Its worth every penny for what its actually bring to users in terms of speed, memory usage, graphical usage, and ease of use.
I hate to say it but Iexpose 0.3 will nowhere near Winplosion in the cleaness of the coding and excution, and it will not blow the pants off the program. I say this not because I am against Iexpose, and I recommend people download and use it and support the creation and the free aspect of the program, but for those other people who have $9.95 and want something that simply works better, I suggest Winplosion.
There is room for both in the world, and simply keep the users happy.

i have Winplosion as well, and i personaly was dissapointed at the time when i bought it. the animation ran very chuggy, and the snapshots were of poor quality. Im not sure why on my system it ran like that
P4 2.4ghz 512megs of ram and geforce4mmx but im jsut going by "my experience" again me, jsut like you, not bangin down on Winplosion, but im sure the winplosion team are going to bring somthing great. I tested the iex 0.3 test app, and the animation and quality of the test app was amazing. Again i cant say which is better cause tehre both great, and anow that i think of it, we cant say Iex will be better, we havnt even used it or know what he is capable of so how can we say that? and we cant say Winplosion will be better in the future, because we havnt used it.
who knows, when Iex 0.3 and the next version of winplosion comes out, they bth could be of exact same quality

Would be wonderful if the were the exact same quality, would make for more choices and more pushing of the envelope of creation and better end products.
I saw you mention your using the GF MX chip, this was a known issue with the 420 mx and the 440 mx and they offer a chipset patch to force the nvidia extentsions instead of the mx's using the GL render engine. I downloaded it for a friend, I will look and see if its still on my HD somewhere, I will email it to you if I find it, as its been removed from the site as the patch is worked into the new release coming out soon.

It would be nice if there was a trial version of WinPlosion. I am very suprised that the company/developers didn't offer one. Even if it had limited functionality. This would allow people to see how well it runs on their systems before spending 9.99 for it.
Money is money and I know I need every penny. lol
Just my thoughts.
