I can remember sb complaining in this forum (or was it here?) about IE for Windows not supporting the 8-bit alpha in PNGs...

Well, I've recently stumbled upon this PNG Behaviour which forces IE5+ to support PNGs just like real browsers do ('comme un grand' héhé). Easy to use&works perfectly.

This has been discussed before. Its kludgy because its using DX.

IE is kludgy itself, I don't think DX makes it any worse...
