FOR HELP LOOK HERE
After all mods your thunderbird will look like this:

1.First of all you need Thunderbird, you can grab it HERE unzip it and open.
2.Download mail.app skin FROM HERE
Open Thunderbird go to Tools->Options then click on themes and install New theme and select mail.app.jar
Apply and then restart now your thunderbird should look like this:

3.Download Compact menu extension for thunderbird. Grab It HERE
To install it you must go to tools-> otpions ->Extension and then click on Install new extension.Now close and CLOSE thunderbird
4. Download my modded Compact menu from HERE
CLOSE THUNDERBIRD
Paste the file just downloaded in
C:\Documents and Settings\Bicet\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\default\(Something like this)9p1b68fw.slt\chrome\
when asked to replace the file answer yes obviously
5. Open Thunderbird and right click on the toolbar choose customize and put all the buttons like in this image
(The search bar is the compact menu icon):

6. Put all toolbar's icons in upper bar, like in this first example
(Note that you have to put the button where before there were the menu)

7.Click on Search->view toolbar and uncheck Mail Toolbar and search Toolbar
Now your thunder should look like this:

8. Now click near the date tab collumn and uncheck therad and attachments
move the sort by junk status and sort by read on the left.
Here is what thunderird should look:

9.CLOSE THUNDERBIRD
downoload from HERE messenger.dtd
go to c:\Program Files\Thunderbird\chrome
and open with winrar (or winzip) en-us-mail.jar
Navigate to locale\en-US\messenger and put inside the file just downloaded
10.CLOSE THUNDERBIRD
Download THIS and THAT files
go to c:\Program Files\Thunderbird\chrome
and open with winrar (or winzip) en-us-mail.jar
Navigate to locale\en-US\global and put inside the two files just downloaded
11.Download those icons from HERE
unpack in c:\Program Files\Thunderbird\chrome\icons\default\
12. CLOSE THUNDERDBIRD
Download this file from HERE
Unrar it in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Bicet\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\default\(Something like this)9p1b68fw.slt\chrome\
Finally your thunderbird should look like this:
