From what I can see on Apple's web site, a .Mac account does not have PHP or any advanced language, so you will have to stick to plain ol' HTML and Javascript. Sadly, there are not that many (if any) options to do this kind of thing without the assistance of PHP et al. If you don't mind finding another host that has PHP and MySQL options, then it would not be hard at all. Sorry I can't help you much, but I never worked with a .Mac account, nor ever tried to create a JavaScript message board.
Edit: You may want to look at this http://www.bravenet....tools/index.php . For free they will add on banners, or you can pay to get rid of them.
