phpbb? Invision? vBulletin? Or other?

I actually like phpbb.... personally. Invision was ok... vBulletin costs money...so i've never used it, but it looks decent...

Im sure their are others i've left out...

I like Invision PowerBoard, just seems nicer to me. The emoticons are cool too! :)

I actually use phpbb on one of my websites and I like it a lot.

It's free. It's customizable, fast, and if it doesn't have a feature I need, someone's usually created a mod that I can download and install to add it in.

I started out on phpBB but then quickly got bored and so went looking for new adventure... I found it in the form of IPB... (Y)

It's Invision Power Board for me. I've tried a few of the other forums, but I always seem to come back to IPB. It's got a friendly support community, it has a good range of features, and it's easy to use and set up. Perfect ;)

There was a discussion about this, about 2 months ago.
At that point, I thought that vB, was better. Then I downloaded the trial of IPB, and I like it. The customization is a little awkward, but you get use to it. But this is kindof a bad time to have this discussion. vB3 is about to be released, which is supposed to be total revamped, and also IPS is getting ready to release IPB 2. So I say wait til then to decide.

Invision is the easiest to install, use and customize. It seems to have the most out there as far as addons.
