About Oxtie

  1. Fine but thats like saying kill the planet, screw the oil, waste the money, loose the free rights of protection, and I LOVE YOU BUSH! Al I asked for an app which is more like MSCONFIG, but you guys can't admit the fact that "You" don't know such app OR can't say that "Such app does not exist". I mean look at all those text above.... nasty nasty, so indirect.... completely out of topic in the first place...
  2. I guess this makes OSX more like "spyware" platform. I guess the next version of Win should blow it's arse. If you look at the history, W95 "core", W98 "shell improvements", WME "Bloatware". Again the hard work W2K "core", XP "shell improvements", Wvi "Bloatware". So, the next version is expected to be "Core" again
  3. I already configured Firewall and killed Bonjour and spotlight but I don't like messing with SUDOs. Also, I managed to disable every automatic update check through "Preferences" but some apps are toooooo friendly and do not obey. I just don't like them starting automatically (updates or execution initially or upgrading)
  4. Do or Die? well imagine when we install "friend like" softwares who tries to call "home" and you cannot stop that! As I launch apps, the most irritating question pops up "There is an update available" and then Azureus, another nice software actually even upgrades itself SO, we don't even know what information they send back home without our knowledge?!? imagine when pests are hogging the memory and processor unnecessarily. And there is no way to kill them? Or a guide on how to terminate them from starting? CPU usage idle never goes to 99! its always something going on in the background! I figured to disable Spotlight and some others through google, but taking this much time to kill apps really sucks. If there were some "Msconfig" type apps, it would be GREAT!
  5. Hell these pesks don't die! I keep killing them they keep giving birth to new ones!! What a frustrating thing this is, killing them one by one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention again... HHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Seriously, Is there any tool(s) for Leopard to Disable startup Processes and Services??? (Something like MSCONFIG of XP) or (something like XP Manager)??? This is very much upsetting me (those nasty processes in Activity monitor!!! HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Leopard Intro Sound Extended :D

lol, I just took original Intro sound from Leopard's guide video and added it to the Intro-sound which did not have the "original" begining... about those ringing bells, I liked it so looped it 3 times
  8. I can assume from your text that you are totally unaware about existence of some MACs which has this type of problems Besides I happen to be a nice guy who wants to spread things cheers
  9. Yep maybe I'm sure I'm not the only mac geeky around... lol My figure of downloads shows plenty (so many missed your link) but hey, your size is GOOD I mean, I just joined the MOV file with it's audio and here it is while you must have done better compression ) I'm still wondering why people are still d'loading such a huge file??? Edit I just found that someone else also leaking it on YouTube earlier its smaller then both of our size yet HD in resolution?? hmmm... when was mpeg 4 standard lost with flash? strange...
  10. In some cases, PCs cannot start this video due to the Audio or Video drivers not initialized (or drivers etc issues preventing it) However, here the Video for those who never saw it http://www.zshare.net/video/123093650e23c163/ When you boot first time into leopard it shows you this and then asks for Name etc etc For those interested only in it's extended Audio, http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=48966
  11. http://www.zshare.net/audio/12269372f42e8361/ Check this out Leopard Intro sound... its extended a little... don't know where to upload so... this seems to be a nice place
  12. DreamDesk v0.1 Beta

I will not want to look at DreamScene I already knew from product description that it was going to use CPU Vista itself is a CPU hungry OS (imagine all CPU hungry beasts packed in one nasty OS).
  13. DreamDesk v0.1 Beta

hmmm, I've not checked the theme extensions of both (DreamScene or DreamDesk) so, I thought that dude was asking to convert .dream to MPEG (tough as I never used DreamScene) however, creating loopy AVIs is something I can always do (but I don't know if people are willing to keep DD running at cost of CPU)
  14. DreamDesk v0.1 Beta

tough call for me, I deleted vista (which was preloaded in my laptop). I'm sure others can help out soon but I would suggest Googlie with strings ".dream convert"
  15. Stacks Docklet
